WHO ARE WE?
Our story
The Prabhu family originates from the South Canara district of Karnataka, India, where Aravind Prabhu was born in 1941. At age 11, after his mother’s untimely death, he was disowned by his father and left to fend for himself. Although he had monetray difficulties, Aravind self-educated himself while doing odd jobs and passed the 10th grade at 23, earned a Bachelor of Arts at 31, and eventually became a lawyer at 36. His hard work paid off over time and he and his wife, Shalini Prabhu, raised three bright sons: Ajay, Ajit, and Avinash. Despite monetary difficulties, the family was rich in love, spirit, and ambition. Both Shalini and Aravind Prabhu sacrificed everything and spared no efforts to highly educate their sons. Ajay and Ajit became engineers, and Avinash became a doctor.
In 1997, Ajit co-founded Quest Global (www.quest-global.com), an engineering outsourcing business; Ajay joined him shortly after. Ajit’s aspiration and business acumen, combined with Ajay’s execution excellence, built the company from the ground up.
More than two decades later, in 2018, under Ajit’s stewardship, the Prabhu Family Office (www.twinandbull.com) was established to continue their legacy.
